We are all likely to experience Menopause and yet up until recently the conversations around it had been mere whispers. Menopause is when a woman’s sex hormones start to decrease, resulting in periods stopping, but can be coupled with a whole host of symptoms. Due to these symptoms, statistics show an increased drop out rate from participants experiencing menopause. Movement can help with menopause symptoms, as well as for some HRT and other medication. But, also helping educate clubs to ensure supportive and empowering culture is crucial.
