EN are currently experiencing some technical issues that are impacting performance levels in ENgage.

EN understand that for some the webpage isn’t loading, whilst others are reporting having success renewing their membership and completing other actions if they persevere. However, EN appreciate that these delays fall short of expectations and are causing frustration and upset amongst the Netball Family and sincerely apologise for this.

EN want to assure you that we are working closely with the system’s developers to identify the root cause with urgency. At this stage we are unable to indicate when normal service is expected to resume but we are working tirelessly to resolve it. We will provide an update on the system as soon as possible and ask that you bear with us as our Customer Services team is currently receiving a high volume of queries on this matter.

What this means for the new membership year and insurance

Today marks the first day of the new membership year. This means that 2021/22 membership is now required for people to benefit from the new programme of insurance, which is arranged centrally by England Netball, to cover participation in recognised and authorised netball activity. However, considering the system issues and given that these are extenuating circumstances that are outside of our members and volunteers’ control, we have agreed a grace period with Howden, our insurance broker.

All players and volunteers (including qualified coaches and officials) who purchase their 2021/22 membership by 23:59 on the 16 September 2021 will be covered by the programme of insurance from 1 September 2021, which provides a two-week grace period.

Hopefully this extra time gives you all peace of mind and allows the season to commence whilst we work to resolve the technical challenges and support as many people to join the membership and return to courts as soon as possible.

Thank you
