There are many clubs within the county who are already successfully delivering Bee Netball to a range of ages and we would like to offer the opportunity to be involved to all Somerset clubs. You may have a player within your team who is looking for an opportunity, close to home for their young person and this could be the perfect opportunity to get something going! The Bee netball product is a great way to introduce netball and ‘Buzzers’ can start at age 5 (reception class).
The email contains a link to a recording of the introduction meeting but the slide deck in the additional info and FAQs link is a really quick way of understanding what this is about. Even quicker - I have extracted one slide which I think summarises what is involved. This has the potential to simplify the first term of netball activity as the parent just buys the ‘Bee Netball’ product in one transaction which includes EN membership, term fees and a goody bag.

So I would encourage you to be part of this initiative to have a ‘Nationally recognised, entry into netball product’ in the same way that other sports do. There are benefits to the club (see below) too. If you sign up then you are not committed to continuing, should you subsequently change your mind.
