Somerset NDOs Corner
As we embark on the 22/23 netball season I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the incredible volunteers within the county and clubs who give up their time to make netball happen so seamlessly in Somerset.
Whilst our clubs and leagues get up and running the impact from the Birmingham CWG has most certainly been felt and whilst the result did not go the way of the roses this time, we can certainly take comfort that our crowds were the largest and most passionate of the games. As we head into September, my key focus is on providing as many opportunities as possible for people take part in netball activity, whether that’s Walking Netball, Back to Netball or come and play session (Netball Now). I am also working in partnership with the junior committee and other county partners to add additional opportunities for our next generation of netball stars to shine.
